Your Health and Safety
Enhanced Policies and Procedures During this Coronavirus Outbreak
A lot has changed recently. We’ve changed too.
The team at Purple keeps abreast of the public health situation. As things change, we update our policies and procedures to minimize the spread of COVID-19. Details below.

Enhanced Policies at Purple Centers
SAFER-FOR-YOU EQUIPMENT USE
Where possible, class materials are single-use, individually wrapped items.
Most shared equipment use has been eliminated.
Only in BLS groups will students limitedly share a manikin (each attendee will still have their own manikin to demonstrate rescue breaths).
FACE COVERINGS
Mask-less participation is permitted for attendees who demonstrate being fully vaccinated at least 2 weeks prior to in-person attendance.
Attendees without demonstration of full vaccination are welcome to attend:
in person with a mask that covers both nose and mouth, or
in a Live Online Experience.
* Masks are available for sale.
UPDATED TRAINING STANDARDS
Some training standards by AHA, American Red Cross, and ASHI have been temporarily adjusted for your safety.
INSTRUCTOR / HOST POSITION
For the safety of our attendees, although our staff is fully vaccinated, we still maintain physical distance from attendees when possible.
MODIFIED AMENITIES
Our legendary Hospitality Lounges are temporarily closed. Coffee and tea service is also on hold.
Good news, though - we’re still offering snacks! All snacks are individually packaged and sanitized on outer surfaces.
Participants who have demonstrated full vaccination are welcome to munch and drink within our facility.
For the time being, other participants are welcome to grab something tasty to enjoy outside, during breaks.
CASHLESS TRANSACTIONS
For now, all transactions are cashless to limit the spread of COVID-19.
*Please speak to someone at Purple if you must use cash. We can safely accommodate this in special circumstances.
Purple Center Environments
CLEANING & DISINFECTING
We’ll be honest - this part hasn’t changed for us. Sanitization has always been a top priority for us. We continue to disinfect every single item and surface before AND after each class or event.
Disinfectants include Lysol and Clorox products, in addition to peroxide solution cleaners.
AIR FILTRATION & CLEANING
Purple facilities have HEPA filter air cleaning systems in place to limit the spread of long-range airborne particles.
INCREASED VENTILATION
Where possible, there may be increased ventilation systems in place to lower the concentrations of potential indoor air pollutants or contaminants. These systems utilize open doors and windows, as well as fans and updated designs to facilities.
Breathe a little easier knowing Purple’s facility environments have been thoughtfully enhanced.
