    All options provide the same certifications that satisfy OSHA workplace requirements. And, most are available from both American Heart Association, and American Red Cross.

    • What is Hybrid? (also called “Blended”) Attend a short 1.5-hour in-person class.

    • How it works: Before your in-person class, study online at your own pace, through the official AHA or Red Cross system.

      The certification is the same as a traditional class, just less time spent in a classroom!

    • Two types of “Hybrid” to choose from

      Hybrid “Skills Session” means you’re paying Purple only for the in-person portion, and you purchase the online learning separately (we give you the link).

      Hybrid “Full Package” means you’re saving some money by purchasing both the online AND in-person parts through Purple.

    • What is Super Saver? It’s your ticket to big savings only available specific days and times. Check the SUPER SAVER Calendars to see when it’s available! Same class, same certification — awesome deals 🎉

    • My organization says I need an in-person only class! Great. This meets that requirements. They’re talking about online ONLY scam classes. With Hybrid, you’re still meeting with an instructor. So, you get the same official certification for work/school/OSHA.

    💡 WHAT IS HYBRID 1-ON-1?

    (Also called “Blended Learning”)
    You’ll attend a short 25–30-minute private, in-person session — just you and the instructor — at a time that works for you. Flexible availability all day!

    How it works:

    Before your in-person class, you’ll complete official online learning through the AHA or Red Cross system at your own pace.

    📝 WHAT IS JUST THE TEST™?

    A quick, in-person option for Red Cross certifications — ideal if you already know the skills!

    Warm up, practice briefly, then demonstrate your skills and take the test.
    No need to retake full classes again and again.

    ⏱️ Fast: Just 30–45 minutes
    📆 Flexible: Appointments available all day

    💲GENERAL PRICING OVERVIEW:

    • 1-on-1 classes range from $89 to $120

    • Some options require a separate online learning purchase ($19–$39)

    • Red Cross BLS includes the online course at no extra cost

  • It’s important to note that both classes include information about CPR. The differences are the curriculum and who attends.

    • CPR/AED is a CPR class for regular/standard applications. Many participants include First Aid when completing CPR AED training. A wide variety of people attend CPR AED classes such as new parents, personal trainers, childcare workers, and other people in non-healthcare/medical work settings or roles.

    • Basic Life Support (BLS for short), also called CPR for Healthcare Providers is a version of Adult and Pediatric CPR training for those that work in healthcare or medical settings, or are professional rescuers. BLS is more in-depth and complex than standard CPR training. Another difference is it includes more topics (such as respiratory arrest, variations in opening the airway, cardiac arrest in pregnancy, and teamwork).

    • What to select: Not sure if your employer requires standard CPR or BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers? Be sure to check your organization requirements before completing your registration!
