• Purple Health and Safety reserves the right to place video surveillance cameras in our facilities where necessary and appropriate. Video surveillance cameras are never used in areas where a person has a reasonable expectation of privacy, such as restrooms.

  • Only authorized personnel, as determined by this policy and authorized by a member of the executive team of Purple Health and Safety will be involved in, or have access to surveillance camera data.

    When an incident is suspected to have occurred, only authorized personnel may review the images from surveillance camera data. For surveillance purposes, Purple Health and Safety, will not record audio along with recorded images.

  • Recorded camera images will be retained for at least 30 days or more.

Video and Image Surveillance Policy, Purpose, and Scope

Purple Health and Safety is committed to protecting the safety and property of Purple Health and Safety, its employees and representatives, and customers while respecting the privacy rights of our staff, representatives, and customers.

We utilize surveillance cameras to record images for future identification of individuals and activity in the event of violations of law or policy. This policy does not apply to the use of video for non-surveillance purposes.
